YESTERDAY, ROMANIAN rugby player Florin Surugiu captured the hearts of the world by proposing to his girlfriend on the pitch at Wembley after losing to Ireland.

THE GOOD

THE BAD

The man who decided to pop the question while at a wedding, in front of the bride

According to the woman in the photo, the bride was totally fine about it and in fact encouraged the couple to co-opt her big day by getting engaged during it. The internet, however, disagreed.

That Rose of Tralee proposal

The New Orleans Rose eventually said yes, but not before the whole country twisted in on itself with embarrassment. “NO. NO. NO. NO. PLEASE DON’T.”

AND THE UGLY

Unsurprisingly, given her reaction, the couple agreed to wait until they were both ready to get married.
