Meet the lad from Longford who recorded a duet with Miranda Kerr

Even Victoria’s Secret models love Irish men.

BURN THE NAME Bobby Fox into the back of your heads because it seems like you’re going to be hearing a lot more about him.

The Irish dancing champion turned Australian musical theatre star is releasing an album later this year and he convinced Victoria’s Secret superstar Miranda Kerr to record a duet with him for it.

Never mind that Orlando Bloom fella, this lad’s got some serious style.

The Longford lad and the Australian model recorded their very own version of You’re The Boss, a song made famous by Elvis Presley and Ann-Margaret Olsson in a deleted scene from 1964 film Viva Las Vegas.

Bobby’s been turning heads around the globe since news of the duet broke, but who is this man who managed to work his magic on an Aussie superstar?

Well, according to Working Management, Fox’s Austalian agents, he’s a “4 times World Irish Dance Champion”, who has even done a bit of Riverdance.

Fox has been Down Under since 2002, starring in Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You and Spamalat to name but a few. His biggest role to date appears to have been as Frankie Vallis in Jersey Boys, a performance for which he was given the highest praise by critics.

John Shand of The Age wrote:

The show is defined by its singing. Fox’s remarkably Valli-like falsetto creates truly thrilling moments in the harmonies

He’s got some seriously slick tap dancing moves too.

DailyEdge.ie tried to contact Fox via his agent, but couldn’t get through. We’re guessing all those singing supermodels are blocking the line.

Bobby’s album – featuring the duet – won’t hit our shelves for a while yet but until then allow him to serenade you with his own take on a classic.
