After months of speculation, Cardi B has confirmed she is, indeed, pregnant.
The 25-year-old, who performed twice during her appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, kept her bump concealed under a heap of feathers – as you do – during the first musical interlude, but confirmed all during her second.
Remember Beyoncé’s belly rub at the end of her Love On Top performance at the 2011 VMAs?
It was basically that, but seven years on.
Cameras remained angled above the singer’s stomach while she performed Be Careful, before ultimately panning out and revealing a gorge baby bump.
Meanwhile, the Instagram user, who was told by Cardi to ‘let her fat in peace’, unleashed holy hell in her own home.
Backstage footage in the moments that followed the singer’s performance was shared on Instagram, and showed family and friends celebrating Cardi’s announcement.
Throwing her hands above her head, Cardi, who is engaged to Migos’ Offset, shouted: “I’m finally free!”
