Charlie Sheen to hit the road - in a 'violent torpedo of truth’

The oddball actor is selling tickets for live shows in Detroit and Chicago – though nobody’s quite sure what they’ll involve.

THE BIZARRE, TOPSY-TURVY life of Charlie Sheen is hitting the road.

Tickets have gone on sale today for shows in Detroit and Chicago next month, called ‘Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth‘ (subtitled ‘Defeat is not a option’) – though a spokesman for the actor said he couldn’t reveal the exact nature of what the show would feature.

In a video launching the show – published on charliesheen.com, a website the actor said he had recouped from “a decaying troll” – Sheen said anyone would declined the chance to attend the show would end up suffering from “Sheen-is envy”.

The publicist, Larry Solters, added that Sheen was promoting the show himself and has already begun rehearsals.

Solters is apparently replacing the actor’s longtime PR man, Stan Rosenfield, who abruptly resigned a fortnight ago after Sheen began giving interviews to various news outlets and radio shows. Solters yesterday described himself, AP reported, as “a warlock in training.”

Sheen had announced the show his two million Twitter followers yesterday, calling it “the REAL story.”

News of the tour comes just a few days after Sheen began legal proceedings against the producers of his former CBS show, Two and a Half Men, seeking $100m for breach of contract after they sacked him from the show on Monday.

Hours after lodging that case, Sheen reached a custody agreement with his estranged wife over access to their twin sons.

Sheen has been making headlines in the past few weeks for his colourful but rambling interviews, in which he has claimed to be a “Vatican assassin warlock” with “tiger blood” and “Adonis DNA.”

The actor’s home was raided by police yesterday, however, after reports emerged that Sheen was threatening to harm himself with a gun.
