They come in sharing platters of 10 and 20, with BBQ and garlic dips. We appreciate variety in our dipping sauces, and we appreciate the Gingerman’s goujons.
The Woolshed, Parnell St
Go for the weekly pub quizzes, stay for the goujons with sweet chilli sauce (or the sharing platter with wings, goujons, sausages and onion rings). Yum.
Nubar, DCU Glasnevin
These have kept many a student alive over the years – and if you love your goujons, you need to try them.
Bobo’s, Dame St and Wexford St
The sign says Gourmet Irish Burgers, but don’t think you have to stick to beef. Served with not one but TWO dipping sauces (including blue cheese and BBQ) – you really are spoiling us, Bobo.
Sober Lane, Irishtown Rd
The goujons in this D4 watering hole are also renowned in Cork, where Sober Lane has an outpost. Perfect post-Aviva Stadium grub.
Camden Rotisserie, Camden St
Rotisserie, you say? Nah, gis the chicken goujons coated in the restaurant’s ‘secret recipe’ instead. That’ll do nicely.
The Gannet, Glasnevin
This Glasnevin restaurant claims to have the best homemade goujons in Dublin – and they look very tasty indeed.
Beshoff’s, all over Dublin
We know. You can’t ignore the fish at Beshoff’s. But if you aren’t really in the mood for fish… can we interest you in a delicious goujon? Ah go on.
