CHRIS PRATT HAS spoken about his recent divorce from fellow actor Anna Faris in a new interview.
Last August, the pair announced that they were separating after eight years of marriage., having me ton the set of Take Me Home Tonight.
“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” Chris announced via social media.
The two are parents to 5-year old son Jack, citing him as the reason for keeping the proceedings private.
Now, in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chris has opened up about how the last eight months have been.
“Divorce sucks,” he says matter-of-factly. “But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much.
[...] We’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.”
Anna has previously spoken about their split on the talk show circuit, maintaining that the two were committed to co-parenting, as both stars seek joint custody.
She is currently dating cinematographer, while Pratt is believed to be single, despite rumours of a romance between himself and Olivia Munn.
