Sacha Baron Cohen has offered to pay the fines of six tourists who were arrested in Kazakhstan for wearing Borat-style mankinis. Sound!

The group posed for photos in the capital of Astana wearing nothing much at all, and were fined 22,500 tenge (€58) for the privilege.

The actor wrote on Facebook:

To my Czech mates who were arrested. Send me your details and proof that it was you, and I’ll pay your fine.

The email address he provided was, fittingly, LOL. (BBC)

YouTuber Jack Maynard has left the I’m A Celebrity camp after some inappropriate old tweets of his were dug up. What has it been, like three days?

The Sun posted screengrabs of old tweets from Maynard featuring a selection of slurs, which he admitted in a statement were ‘inflammatory’ and ‘insulting’.

He left the jungle so as to be able to properly defend himself:

Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show.

Hmm. (The Sun)
