This Dublin doughnut shop is doing some seriously festive Christmas doughnuts

Mince pie doughnut anyone?

DUBLIN IS CURRENTLY in the midst of a doughnut revolution with the likes of Aungier Danger, The Rolling Donut, Dublin Doughnut Company, Slice, Krust and Offbeat Donuts all seriously upping the city’s doughnut game of late.

And the latter has just opened another branch in Dublin.

Offbeat Donuts, which continues to operate a store in Pearse Station, has just opened up shop on George’s Quay.

There they are now.

And to mark the arrival of the Christmas season, the store are doing a new range of festive doughnuts like…

  • Brandy Mince Pie Donut
  • Christmas Smiley Donut (a gingerbread doughnut covered in white glaze)
  • Christmas Spice Donut (cinnamon, ginger, sugar, treacle)

Can smell it from here, tbh.

Let’s just take a closer look at that brandy mince pie doughnut, shall we?

A generous filling of brandy mincemeat and a rich vanilla custard, topped with a delicious nutty crumble and sprinkled with icing sugar.

Mincemeat doughnut? Colour us intrigued.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas alright.
