What are YOU doing for Christmas?

We might go to Balbriggan, or Dunboyne.

MOST PEOPLE DREAM OF heading to Lapland for the festive period, or maybe taking in some winter wonderland skiing in Austria, right?

Or maybe it’s five days in Balbriggan that tickles your fancy… or ringing in the New Year in Dunboyne, or maybe crackers in Claremorris…

We spotted these festive breaks in a travel agent’s window on Middle Abbey Street in Dublin. For all your holiday needs.

It’s a pity Athy and Dingle aren’t on offer, because then we could flaunt these puns:

Dingle all the way
Ding Dong Merrily Athy

(H/T to Michael Freeman for that second one)

Any more festive geographical puns for us? Let us know in the comments section below…
