ONE OF THE stalwarts of South Dublin’s shopping scene, Crumlin Shopping Centre is well known to locals and visitors alike for its central location and its unique setting.
But now its (unofficial) Facebook presence has taken a step towards the hilarious.
A parody page for the Centre was set up two days ago and already has over 3,000 likes. Why is it growing so fast?
Well, it’s hilarious
And full of historical factoids
It serves as a useful public announcement platform as well
It’s not afraid of dealing with the controversial issues that every modern shopping centre faces
They were quick to call foul on a rogue administrator, though
But, given there is already a real page for the shopping centre, it hasn’t really fooled anyone about the parody nature of this ‘official’ page.
