WE’VE ALL GONE to great lengths to get a birthday shout-out from our favourite celeb before, no doubt.
I have spent many an August 8th (jot it down just in case you forget) furiously tweeting the members of Fall Out Boy politely informing them about my birthday in the hopes that they might absentmindedly type “happy birthday Fionnuala!” in response.
(I also would’ve settled for a ‘like’, to be honest.)
Anyway, Annie happened to be a lot luckier (or unluckier depending on what way you look at it), when she found herself on the same flight as Daniel O’Donnell.
Annie was jetting off to celebrate “a milestone birthday”, when her friends decided to surprise her with a special in-flight performance.
Daniel gave a rousing rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ over the intercom, while Majella hung around in the cockpit (not a euphemism – you can spot her chilling with the pilot in the video below.)
