YOU MIGHT HAVE seen the Batman prequel Gotham pop up from time to time on RTÉ and elsewhere over the last couple of years.
It tells the story of a young Jim Gordon, the childhood of Bruce Wayne and the origins of all the main Batman villains.
They’re well into their third season on FOX in the US, and last night they shared a promo pic from the upcoming episode All Will Be Judged.
And the character featured bore an *uncanny* resemblance to our own Dara Ó Briain
And oh how everyone let him know
So many messages and tags must have been coming that he had to address it
HE IS AWARE OF IT:
Okay. Everyone stop sending me this now, I’ve seen it.
The funny thing is, the character in question – Nathaniel Barnes – actually doesn’t look anything like Dara under normal circumstances
But it’s just the get up in this particular photo obscures enough of his face to make it look like he is the spit of Ó Briain
This looks like a temporary costume for this week’s episode – so let’s enjoy Dara’s doppelganger appearing on US telly while it lasts.
A wonderful thing.
