Poll: Did you manage to get your hands on Spice Girls tickets this morning?

What a morning it has been.

SPICE GIRLS FANS were expecting a bit of an ordeal at 9am when tickets went on sale, and rightly so, because we all know that feeling of dread when you log in to Ticketmaster for any major event at 8:59am.

Since Dublin is the first date on the schedule of the Spice Girls stadium tour, there was some added pressure as there were plenty of Spice Girls mega fans abroad making it known that they’d be willing to travel to see the Spice Girls, especially on the first night of their reunion tour.

To make things even more nerve-wracking, Twitter was full of photos of queues wrapping around Ticketmaster outlets.

Once the tickets went live, it seemed as though everyone was getting the same message:

Wow! Loads of people have turned up today! As so many people are trying to book tickets, we’ve started a queue. Don’t refresh this page as you may lose your place in the queue.

Some people were expressing disappointment on Twitter, thanks to error messages and being thrown out of Ticketmaster’s checkout before their time slot had come to an end, while others were celebrating. So far, it seems to be a pretty mixed bag.

So, did you manage to get your hands on a set of tickets?

Poll Results:

Yep! THANK GOD. (780)
Nope, not interested. (654)
I tried, but I had no luck. (166)
