ON MONDAY NIGHT, Hangar nightclub in Dublin was filled to the brim and the session was in full flight.
DJ Marcus O’Laoire was halfway through his set when something was handed to him from the crowd – and he just had to tell the story on Facebook:
“700 people jammed in a sweaty warehouse on a Monday night and some weird fuck throws me up a taxidermised squirrel cos I played his song. I asked him where he got it, he just winked and said “its the party animal”. Unreal.”

Where did this squirrel come from? Was it indeed the legit party animal?
Not quite, as Marcus told DailyEdge.ie:
So as it transpired, there was an exhibition in Hangar on the Sunday previous and one art piece was left on stage – the squirrel was part of that.
And some lad ripped it off and brought it on an adventure.
Marcus posted the story to Facebook and it’s taken off – with over 6000 likes since Tuesday afternoon.
