These devastated Dubliners couldn't see any Northern Lights last night

T’was a roarin’ shame so it was, Joe.

SOMETIMES LIVING IN the fair city ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Take last night for instance: There was talk of the Aurora Borealis – Northern Lights – being visible from the UK and Ireland.

Dubliners took to their back gardens in the hopes of spotting the lights, but it soon became clear that that the skies were anything but.

In the words of one Shankill resident:

The Aurora in Dublin is pretty poor compared to some.

Meanwhile in Donegal, the locals were havin’ the absolute craic with the lights.
