Super cheap makeup brand E.l.f. has arrived in Ireland - here are 5 cult products to try

Another great budget makeup option. We’re spoiled rotten.

WE LIKE TRYING new makeup products, but we don’t like spending an arm and a leg to do so.

Which is why it is extremely pleasing that the popular budget brand E.l.f. (AKA Eyes Lips Face) is now available in Ireland.

The brand has been around since 2004, and the website briefly shipped to Ireland at the start before cruelly cutting us off a few years ago.

Now, they’ve opened up shipping here again and are being stocked in Superdrug, so you should definitely get involved. Here are some cult favourite products to try out.

The Lip Exfoliator (€5.80)

What’s great about this is unlike most lip scrubs, it actually comes in a lipstick bullet. No mess, no finding sugar crystals all over yourself for hours after you scrub.

It comes in six different flavours/scents, and does a nice job of prepping lips for liquid lipstick.

Shimmering Facial Whip (€1.93)

Hi, this is a €2 highlighter. It’s a bit different to what you’d normally expect, however, with a thick cream formula that takes a bit of work to get right. But when it’s right, it’s right, and it can be as subtle or intense as you like.

Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St Lucia (€7.74)

If you’re a fan of Nars blushes, you might notice that this looks… very familiar. This has been heralded as a dupe for Nars’ blush and bronzer duo, which is over four times the price. We know which one we’d go for.

Studio Crease Brush (€5.80)

E.l.f. brushes are generally good across the board, but if you’re in need of a good blending brush, here’s your man.

One user of Reddit’s all-knowing Makeup Addiction board says this:

I own 8 of these. It’s the perfect brush to apply eyeshadow to the lid while blending at the same time.

And the Cream Eyeliner (€5.80)

This is a bestseller for a reason – it’s not prone to smudging or creasing like other creamy eyeliners. According to this blogger, it’s life changing for liner lovers:

Can I please tell you how much this E.l.f. liner has changed my life? The liner dries pretty quickly, doesn’t smudge, and holds on to dear life through any tears or water.

Now go forth and E.l.f. yourself.
