IT IS SAFE to say that many of us are big fans of Enrique Iglesias or at least we were growing up as teenagers. Is it any wonder though? The man came out with banger after banger from the early 2000s right up to the present day.

1. Bailamos
It’s 1999 and Enrique releases this scorcher of a song mixing just enough Spanish into the chorus to pass it off as exotic to us Irish. The whispering of the Spanish makes it extra sexy.
2. Escape
In the early 2000s Enrique had a habit of taking off his shirt whenever the opportunity arose. In fact in the video he’s shifting a woman so passionately in a bathroom that he has to be escorted out by security. You wouldn’t see that in Coppers. Escape was possibly the best song ever recorded by Enrique even if it was slightly stalkery.
3. Not In Love feat. Kelis
It’s been 14 years since the song was released which is actually mind blowing. Enrique and Kelis running around claiming they’re not in love with each other when you could cut the sexual tension with a paperclip. Nice try guys.
4. Do You Know (The Ping Pong Song)
Leave it to Enrique to figure out that you could use table tennis to give you a decent beat throughout the song. A little fun in a song about a man getting dumped and kicked out of his apartment.
5. Hero
No list of Enrique’s hits would ever be complete without possibly the most romantic song ever. You haven’t lived until you’re 4 Jagerbombs in screaming to a stranger that you could kiss their pain away at a wedding of some description. A song for the ages.
6. Tired of Being Sorry
This is the perfect song to blast at your mam when you forgot to empty the dishwater yet again and she starts yelling at you. ‘I’M TIRED OF BEING SORRY MAM’ you scream as she calls you a lazy prick for the umpteenth time.
7. I Like It (feat. Pitbull)
In the first of his many colloborations with Pitbull, Enrique brought the tempo up a notch and created a song that will be played to get the crowd at football matches going for years to come.
