Facebook insists: We're not going to charge for usage

FACEBOOK HAS DENIED rumours that it is to begin charging for use, after thousands of users around the world fell for a scam advising them that monthly charges would begin from this morning. A post on the network’s official Facebook page confirmed that the company had “no plans to charge for Facebook. It’s free and always will be.” So, as you were, then.
