Jamie Dornan covered a Paul McCartney song for the new Fifty Shades soundtrack

THE RELEASE DATE for Fifty Shades Freed, the final chapter in the Fifty Shades series, is creeping ever closer.

Very exciting.

New Fifty Shades equals gratuitous shots of Nordie Jamie Dornan pretending not to be a Noride but American billionaire Christian Grey.

For this installment, however, they’re really kicking things up a notch.

Yep – they got Jamie Dornan to SING.

Jamie appears on the Fifty Shades soundtrack tracklisting singing a cover of Maybe I’m Amazed, by Paul McCartney.

Director James Foley told the Daily Mirror in an interview last year:

He is an incredibly good singer—he sang a lot on set.”

Proper little canary, so he is.

Not that surprising though, given he was actually in a band before all of this Fifty Shades business took off. Jamie was a part of Sons of Jim, a folk band who disbanded in 2008. They even supported Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall on tour.

There you go now. Bit of trivia for you.
