Back to Work

It’s National Forget Your Password Day in offices across the land

The most wonderful time of the year.

IF YOU WERE one of the many who returned to work today, you may have found yourself struck down by a Christmas bug.

No, we’re not talking about Janxiety or Jannui.

We’re talking about Post-Christmas Password Amnesia.

Yes, it seems that National Forget Your Password Day fell on January 4th this year.

It seems that Christmas has completely wiped all important information from your brain.

Pretty much everyone had this internal monologue this morning.

What’s the bloody password for this thing? Why does my password have to consist of an impossible-to-remember sequences of numbers and letters? It would be so much easier if I could just use my birthday — hang on, maybe my birthday is my password! And… nope. Ugh, I wish I was back drinking Prosecco and watching Gravity.

Seriously, brain — you had one job.

You’ve just made a bad day even worse.

That’s no way to welcome someone to 2016.

How many of us experienced this moment of panic this morning?

*raises hand*

Spare a thought for all the people working in IT today, won’t you?

Note to self: write down your password before going on holidays next time.

And for those of you who did manage to remember your password…

Congratulations!

You’ve already won today.
