The French fans have started singing 'Stand Up For The French Police' at the Euros

The Irish legacy lives on.


BY NOW WE’VE all seen how well the Irish fans and French police got on during Ireland’s run at Euro 2016.

They sang Sit Down/Stand Up For The French Police like beautiful larks, and also inspired the law enforcers to come up with their own version of ‘Go Home For The French Police’. So. Much. Banter.

Now, one if Ireland’s best-known chants has been adopted by the French fans who have convinced the police to play along:
