The eternal bachelor George Clooney has revealed he’s heading for our shores very soon.
Speaking to TV3′s Xposé at the premiere of his new film The Monuments Men, he said he intends to stop off in our fair country this summer to visit his mate Bono:
I’m actually planning to do a little trip to Ireland this summer so I’m going to try and get some motorcycles and get into Ireland. [Bono] wants to do a bicycling tour but I think maybe we’ll just get him on a motorcycle.
George says Bono doesn’t think much of his singing skills, but that his “drinking and scrapping abilities” are more than adequate.
It would be a brave Irish man that tried to start a scrap with George Clooney. We think you’ll be all right in that respect, George.
