ONE OF THE msot deligthful things about Dublin is the way new little details reveal themselves to you every day. Faded shop signs, glorious architecture, mysterious plaques – that kind of thing.
Yesterday afternoon, Come Here To Me, a blog dedicated to documenting Dublin’s history, posted a photo of a newly erected plaque they spotted on a bench on Grattan Bridge.
As you can see, it has quite the dedication.
A terrible secret indeed.
No word on who’s behind this particular plaque, but Come Here To Me notes that Dublin has a proud history of cheeky plaques. Who among us can forget the Father Noise plaque?
Next time you’re with someone who doesn’t drink Guinness, you know where to take them.
