11 people who haven't read Ulysses either

It’s on the bookshelf but…

Today marks the anniversary of Leopold Bloom’s jaunt around Dublin, which took place in James Joyce’s Ulysses on 16 June 1904.

Every year people gear themselves up for the special day by either preparing to take part in some of the special celebrations, or by doing this:

Haven’t read it? Don’t worry, you’re not alone…

There are the ones who’ve graciously accepted their Ulysses ignorance

The ones who tried and gave up

The smutty ones

The ones who haven’t given up hope yet

The pretenders

The ones who are more into this bearded wonder
