MY LOVELY HORSE Rescue centre rehabilitates, retrains and rehomes abandoned horses and ponies in the Dublin and Leinster area.

Not only do they do sterling work to improve the quality of life for horses in need, they’re not shy about letting the world see what goes on.

Which makes their Facebook page a must like

Because the photos and videos of the horses they put up are absolutely adorable

Every year, the volunteer organisation host ‘My Lovely Ranch’ at Electric Picnic featuring their rescued animals

Because the main aim is to give as many horses as possible a second chance and raise awareness across the country of their plight

As they say themselves:

we endeavor to improve the quality of life for horses in need by providing them with the means to live out the remainder of their natural lives in the safety and security of loving foster and forever homes; and to educate our children of today who are pet owners of tomorrow about the importance of becoming responsible horse owners

It’s not just horses they look after though, look at this fella

And the PAINTING.

Their EP presence brings them plenty of attention – and they’re hosting a “Rubbish Song For Europe” at this year’s festival which is bound to provide even more craic than usual.

But it’s the horses that are the real stars of the show
