HUMANS OF NEW York can be funny, devastatingly sad, or completely eye-opening – but no one has cut us right to the core like this lady.
If you’re unfamiliar with Humans of New York, it’s a project by photographer Brandon Stanton that catalogues inhabitants of the city alongside quotes and short stories from their lives.
Photos go up daily – the latest entry is a picture of an old woman sitting in a park with her magazine.
Lovely snap, right? But her disdainful views on modern technology really have people talking:
“Members of the internet.” Oh, she’s got our number alright.
Now everyone wants to be a member of the internet.
