EVANNA LYNCH ENTERED her teenage years living every child’s dream.
The now 27-year-old Louth woman was selected to play the role of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movie series and was pretty much set for life after that.
You’d forgive her for taking a few years off after spending so much of her youth working on one of the world’s biggest movie franchises, but Lynch has continued to act pretty steadily since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II wrapped up. Nowadays, she runs a podcast about veganism, called The ChickPeeps.
This afternoon, Lynch announced on Instagram that she would be participating in the 27th series of Dancing with the Stars (alongside popstar Tinashe and a load of other American celebs).
Evanne uploaded a photograph of herself and Latin ballroom instructor Keo Motsepe writing, “See these faces? These are the faces of WINNERS.”
She then proceeded to upload a Boomerang of her showing off her new DWTS costume and warned her followers that her “feed will be extremely spangly for the foreseeable future”.
Keep her in your thoughts, because God knows how many wizard puns she’ll have to listen to over the course of the series.
