Here's what Twitter thinks Ireland actually smells like

#irishsmells has been taking over timelines this morning

Here are just a selection of scents that tickled nostrils around the country:

The full Irish breakfast

The scent of a good old sod of turf

And the competition

The aroma of the Atlantic

GalwaySeaAndSeaweed

There’s a LOT of love for the Guinness brewery in the capital

A subtle hint of Liffey water

The pub, at any time of day

A good waft of eau de Coppers

Some late night take-away

A bit of fake bake

Marvellous medicinal odours

The strong stuff

A grouped selection of notion-laced scents

And of course, a traditional favourite that you’d be hard pushed to ignore
