A DONKEY OR an ass, however you refer to it there’s no doubt they are wonderful animals.

You may be surprised to know that you can find a donkey in most aspects of life be it literature in the form of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, film in the form of a donkey voiced by Eddie Murphy in Shrek or politics in the form of the US Democratic Party’s symbol – a donkey.

Somewhat inspired by our earlier story about donkeys on the Kenya-Somalia border we here at TheJournal.ie offices have been inspired to produce this top-quality exhibition of donkeys for your viewing pleasure.
