Jason Momoa said he fell for his wife Lisa Bonet after she ordered a Guinness on their first date... it's the Dredge

All the celeb dirt from the weekend.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Former Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa is popping up everywhere these days as he promotes the upcoming release of Justice League – and over the weekend he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden and spoke about the first time he met his wife Lisa Bonet.

They bonded over a shared love of Guinness, apparently:

Momoa was always a fan of Bonet, who is best known for her role on The Cosby Show back in the day:

Ever since I was like 8 years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like: ‘Mommy I want that one’

The story moved on from his early infatuation to the night they first met:

I convinced her to take me home because I was living in a hotel… we went to Cafe 101 and sat down and she ordered a Guinness. And that was it.

Corden revealed Momoa was actually drinking Guinness out of the mug while the interview was taking place:

I love Guinness. She ordered Guinness and I ordered grits and the rest is history.

The man can’t get enough of the black stuff.

Gal Gadot has reportedly said that she won’t play Wonder Woman in any sequel until Brett Ratner is off the project completely.

Ratner – who denies sexual harassment allegations made against him by six women – owns a production company that co-produced the first film. He has since said that he has made a personal choice to step away from Warner Brothers’ projects, but it’s unclear whether that includes his production company.

As Jezebel reports:

A “Warner Bros. insider” told Page Six that Gadot “knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.

Gadot had an option in her contract for a second film but was never tied to it, and now negotiations are underway on contracts for the second film the Ratner issue is reportedly on the table.

Rumours are going around that Dee Devlin is in line to appear on RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, host Amanda Byram welcomed the idea:

I’d love Dee Devlin to star and I’ve heard a rumour she possibly might do it
There’s still some wariness about taking part as I think some people want to see how things progress. I remember actress Deirdre O’Kane telling me she’d love to do it. So she’s on my hit list. I’d love to get her on and Jason Byrne, I love the funnies.

McGregor definitely won’t be allowed to jump onto the dancefloor to celebrate should she win the thing. Although it would make for some dramatic telly.
