MSNBC cuts off politician mid-sentence to cover Justin Bieber's arrest

This news anchor is clearly a Belieber.

NEVER MIND THOSE government spies and their phone record collecting ways, Justin Bieber’s just been arrested.

That was the message one US news anchor inadvertently delivered when she cut a Congresswoman off mid sentence on live television.

The pair were having an important conversation about the National Security Agency’s practice of collecting phone records in order to report that the young fella had only gone and gotten himself arrested.

The internet was horrified at the idea of such a serious news discussion being interrupted for the sake of Mr Bieber. It wasn’t long before the angry masses took to Twitter to express their collective disdain.

You wouldn’t see that happening on Sharon’s watch.

#FreeBieber is the worst and the best hashtag on the internet today>
