Justin Timberlake launches home decor site

The site gives users a mini quiz to determine their taste and presents them with a customised profile.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE HAS teamed up with his former stylist Estee Stanley on a new home decor website, HomeMint.com, that offers design suggestions customised to individual users’ taste.

The site asks users a series of questions like “Which kitchen best fits your style?” with a set of pictures to choose from. At the end you are presented with a Home Style Profile that brings together all of the art, bedding, rugs and a small amount of furniture that should suit your personal style.

Stanley worked as a stylist for Timberlake back in his NSYNC days and later moved into interior design. She worked with the singer on his own home decor and also styled interiors for stars like Ashley Olsen and Rashida Jones.

Timberlake is no stranger to the design business himself having launched a successful clothing line, William Rast, in 2006.

In a video on the website, Timberlake said:

A home should also be an expression of who you are and the style of who you are, and that’s not different from fashion.

The stylish pair said they are happy to have the opportunity to showcase the work of so many smaller companies and artists’ products on the site.

The website offers a monthly membership of $9.99  which gives members cheaper prices for products, though non users looking for a one-time purchase can buy items at the higher price.

Items range from $7.99 hand towels to hand knitted rugs priced at over $1,000 so the possibilities are endless, as is the potential credit card bill.
