The famous image of Kanye shifting Kanye has been turned into a huge mural

Art imitating art.

EARLIER THIS YEAR, a Photoshopped image created by Buzzfeed designer Jen Lewis showed Kanye West shifting… Kanye West.

Instantly, it became a huge meme and reports started circulating that Kanye himself wasn’t a fan of the joke.

Well, over the weekend, Sydney artist Scottie Marsh immortalised it as a huge mural

And the 20ft-tall painting has gone global overnight.

The original Photoshopper couldn’t believe it

And now people are seeking it out to have their own photo taken with it

In a week that has seen a big Kim Kardashian mural go up in another Australian city, this one takes the biscuit just on the fact that it’s referencing a meme.

Excellent work.
