THERE WERE PLENTY of Kanye West fans glued to his Instagram on Valentine’s Day when he made a sudden return to social media to flood his account with photographs of some of the most iconic couples of the last few decades.
From Brad and Angelina to Aaliyah and Tupac, Kanye (or whoever runs his Instagram account) spent seven hours uploading 55 photographs of celebrity couples. The final two photos were pictures of himself and his wife Kim Kardashian.
People were as confused as they were excited.

Kanye’s massive Instagram spam also happened to be the two year anniversary of the release of his last album The Life of Pablo. The photos didn’t survive 24 hours, since Kanye deleted his account the night after he returned to the website.
Kanye originally deleted all of his social media in May 2017. Some people were concerned that this decision was related to the sudden cancellation of his Saint Pablo tour in November 2016, which ended abruptly with him walking off of stage in California and taking an extended break from the public eye for mental health reasons.
