ADDING TO AN already impressive roster of Marlay Park gigs this summer, MCD have just announced that the one and only Kanye West will be taking his Yeezus tour here in July.

He’ll be joined by Pharrell, who hopefully won’t play Happy on loop for the whole gig. Please don’t, Pharrell.

Tickets cost €59.50, and are on sale this Friday at 9am.

It’s going to be a busy summer for Marlay Park – Arcade Fire will play on 29 June, Kings of Leon are slated for July 4, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (with guest Ellie Goulding) are hitting the stage on 10 July, and Arctic Monkeys will finish things off on July 12.

If that’s not enough for you, the Longitude festival will be taking over from the 18-20 July.

We’re absolutely spoiled, aren’t we? Hurry up, summer.
