VIEWERS WILL SEE Keith Barry’s final Brainhacker stunt go drastically wrong, leaving the mentalist fighting for his life as his heart stops beating.
Sunday’s stunt see Barry encased in a glass ice coffin – attempting to have a near death experience – when his body temperature drops to a dangerously low level and goes into shock.
Medical experts had warned him not to go through with the attempt but Barry, eager to push himself to the limits for the finale, ignored their warnings.
As the audience watches on in horror, the stunt is terminated and Barry is wheeled out of studio so the team can work to “save his life”.
“It was an experience for me and it was an experience, certainly for the people who were there”, Barry said, adding that what viewers will see on Sunday is 100% real.
I believe that the people at home, if they look at it and extract themselves from the fact that it’s me on television, they will know in their heart of hearts that it really was real what happened on that day.
Ouija Boards, Voodoo, and shrunken heads also feature, and Barry also attempts a mass séance with the studio audience and viewers at home.
The final episode in the current series of Brainhacker airs on TV3 this Sunday, February 16th at 9pm.
