WE’VE ALL BEEN caught out with a wardrobe malfunction at some stage in our lives.
The most unfortunate though, come on a night out. There’s no place to run, especially if you want to keep enjoying the night.
One Cork woman, Meabh, was enjoying herself in TipTop when her jumpsuit zip refused to go back up.
She tells DailyEdge.ie that she made a mess of it during a trip to the loo.
So basically the zip goes right down to the bum and I was trying to zip it up in the loo and I just made a bags of it. It’s like I zipped it up on one side of the zip, and then couldn’t get it back onto the other side!
NIGHT. MARE.
Luckily, the club helped her out.
In a note on their Facebook page, Meabh writes about the night:
A brief word of thanks to your helpful staff who came to my rescue last night!
Unfortunately, the zip in my jumpsuit failed during the soirée, which had being going fabulously until that point. Doing my best to hold my modesty into the garment of clothing, we headed for the cloakroom, where the staff there did their best with the first aid kit – this entailed plasters to keep my derrière hidden and some medical strapping to keep the top of the jumpsuit in place. Many thanks ladies!!
But the good will didn’t end there.
We proceeded to enjoy the band on the first floor, and despite my best efforts, it was blatantly obvious things weren’t going well. After they had finished, a member of the band came to my aid and I quote ”I could see you were struggling”, before he kindly handed my friend some masking tape to help the situation. Again, extremely grateful!!
The finished result?
I am much obliged! keep doing what you’re doing!!

Meabh tells us that she isn’t ready to chuck the jumpsuit out just yet, and plans on getting it re-zipped.
Maybe a metal zip this time, instead of the plastic one that came in it!
