TEAM IRELAND VISITED Áras an Uachtaráin this morning to meet President Michael D and his wife Sabina.
The President had put on a reception for the Irish athletes this morning to celebrate their achievements in Rio.
And the photos that have been released are perfect
The sheer delight on the President’s face when he met Oliver Dingley, above, and Annalise Murphy here was marvellous
He got a good look at the medal as well
As well as getting to meet other stars of the team
And pose for photos outside
In fact, everyone seemed to be having great craic
What a welcome home for the Olympic athletes that did so well
