Are microwave postboxes an Irish thing now?

Keeping the letters warm and dry has never been so easy.

REMEMBER THAT GENIUS Kilkenny postbox we were talking about over the weekend?

In case you missed it, someone in the Inistioge area decided to get a bit more use out of the old microwave by using it to keep the post warm and dry.

It turns out they weren’t the only bright sparks though: Another clever clogs on Achill had the same idea.

This one was spotted in Dugort by Eilis, who sent the snap in.

Have you spotted one in your local area?
