Millennium milk bottles are coming back to Irish doorsteps

It’s been 25 years since their first appearance.


THERE ARE FEW icons of recent Irish history as easily recognised as the Millennium milk bottle.

Twenty five years ago Dubliners were having their milk delivered in bottles adorned with the emblem of the Millennium, and excitement was rife about the occasion.

Now, the bottles are coming back.  Milk delivery service are bringing back back daily milk delivery to the doorstep.

This week to celebrate the anniversary of the Millennium, some of their customers will find their dairy being delivered in replicas of the special milk bottles.

What a treat!
