The Million Euro Challenge started last night and the internet could only talk about one thing

Are those CD cases?

LAST NIGHT, THE Million Euro Challenge launched on RTÉ One. Hosted by Nicky Byrne, the show is winter replacement for Winning Streak and offers contestants the chance to win €1 million.

The show itself received a mixed response on social media with some criticising the low winnings and others describing it as “boring”. On the bright side, Nicky Byrne was widely singled out as having acquitted himself well as host.

But the thing that really set tongues wagging?

The blank CD cases.

In the show’s first game, Crack The Code, Nicky Byrne used blank CD cases to reveal the set of numbers contained within the code.

Needless to say, it really captured Twitter’s attention.

Meanwhile, this girl had one theory as to where all the CD cases were sourced from.
