Mother plans to broadcast birth live online

Nancy Salgueiro says she wants to give women a chance to see what an “undisturbed, natural birth” is like. She’s setting up cameras in her sitting room.

A CANADIAN WOMAN is inviting people around the world to watch her giving birth to her third child.

Nancy Salgueiro is asking people to sign up via her website in order to watch the homebirth. The baby is due on 7 October.

Salgueiro is a birth coach, and videos of her two children being born are already up on her site. She says she wants to give woman a chance to see what “normal, natural birth is like”.

Mashable reports that her two-year-old son Taivus will cut the umbilical cord. The entire process, from the beginning of her labour will be streamed live.

Salgueiro says that she “loves giving birth” and can’t wait to do it again, and she wants you to join her…
