Here's why you should listen to My Dad Wrote a Porno before it hits HBO

Still not in the loop?

THE VAST MAJORITY of us – for obvious reasons – refuse to entertain the idea that our parents have sex.

And the notion that one of them may have actually penned an erotic novel on the side is more than most of us could stand.

Jamie Morton, however, turned that particular discovery into one of the most entertaining podcasts of all time.

And now, My Dad Wrote A Porno, which first aired in 2015, is set to hit our TV screens.

That’s right; in 2019, HBO will be airing a live special of the podcast because, well, it’s absolutely gas.

For anyone who’s unfamiliar, My Dad Wrote a Porno is led by Jamie, who reads chapters from Belinda Blinked – an erotic novel written by his own father under the pseudonym Rocky Flintstone – while his co-hosts tear the whole damn thing asunder.

Because, well, why wouldn’t you?

Jamie and his co-hosts, James and Alice are thrilled to see the podcast reach an even bigger audience.

We’re over the moon and honoured that HBO has decided to help bring Rocky Flintstone’s bad dad-rotica to the world – what are they thinking?! The response to the live show has been incredible so far, so we can’t wait for more people to see it.

Given how popular the podcast is in its original form, listeners are buzzing for the upcoming HBO version.

And if you have yet to get in on the action – so to speak -  here are just a few tweets which will show you what you’re missing out on.
