INDIE DHABA RESTAURANT on Dublin’s South Anne Street has been closed for some time – but now there’s finally something to replace it.

And it sounds VERY interesting.

According to documents lodged with Dublin City Council, there are plans to turn the former Indie Dhaba space into a:

Mythical Themed Restaurant & bar called Magistorium.

Oh yes.

The application says the plans include the:

Removal of existing Indian Restaurant & Bar fit-out and strip back to shell and core.

Magistorium is being set up by one of the people behind The Wright Venue in Swords. DailyEdge.ie contacted the group to shed some light on the “mythical theme” proposed but there were no details forthcoming.

Needless to say, this looks like it will be different to the regular pub and restaurant in town, anyway
