NASA HAS RELEASED this dramatic photograph of snow-covered Ireland.
Although the snow appears to have largely left Ireland for the moment, seriously icy conditions and freezing temperatures persist across the country.
The US space agency’s Aqua satellite captured the image in the early afternoon on the 2 December, according to NASA.
