OK Go release new video... featuring a special message from TheJournal.ie

The band, best known for their epic treadmill dance promo for ‘Here it Goes Again’, have produced a HTML5 video for their new song in conjunction with Google.

OK GO, THE BAND you may recognise from the YouTube treadmill sensation Here It Goes Again (which has been viewed almost 8.5 million times), have released a mind-bending new promo for their latest single.

Teaming up with Google Japan for a ‘Google Chrome experiment’ the Chicago group have launched a HTML5 music video for ‘All Is Not Lost’ complete with custom message.

A behind the scenes video reveals that the ultimate message behind the video is to communicate hope to the people of Japan in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

We at TheJournal.ie have made our own version, complete with a special message for our readers*. You can watch the whole video, complete with kaleidoscope-esque dance moves by clicking on ‘full’, or you can click ‘message only’.

*To see the extra special version it’s necessary to use Google Chrome. Otherwise here’s a less special, but still pretty impressive YouTube version:
