Pics: Why Quvenzhané Wallis is owning the Oscar parties this year

Because everyone else is boring.

THE TRADITIONAL ACADEMY Awards Nominees luncheon took place yesterday in Tinseltown, with more than 160 contenders gathering to acknowledge their mutual greatness.

You’d think there would have been some interesting outfits.  Alas, there was not.  Aside from Quvenzhané Wallace, without whom the red carpet would be a very boring place this year.

Inside, Bradley Cooper and Robert Deniro were having a great laugh. Would it be so wrong to keep thinking of them as the father and son due they are in Silver Linings Playbook? (John Shearer/Invision/AP)

We couldn't not show you this photo of Roman Coppola in the portrait studio at the event. What a magnificent level of creep he's bringing here. (Matt Sayles/Invision/AP)
