Party Cannon is the internet’s new favourite heavy metal band.

ANYTHING ON THIS poster stand out to you?

Anything at all?

If you were drawn to Party Cannon’s logo, then you’re not alone.

The internet is currently obsessed with it.

But just who are Party Cannon and what’s the story with their eyecatching logo?

Party Cannon are a death metal band from Dunfermline, Scotland, and the poster in question is from a heavy metal festival that took place in Oakland earlier this summer.

Chris Kraft from Party Cannon told Buzzfeed News that the image has gone viral on numerous occasions before.

We are aware that the flyer is currently being shared a lot, though this is not the first time the logo has gone viral – probably closer to the fifth.

And he’s pretty okay with it.

Every time it goes viral we definitely gain legitimate fans that listen to the music, attend shows, buy merch, and properly get what we’re about which is awesome. Obviously there are a few people that like the page just because ‘the logo is funny’, but thankfully people like that tend to f**k off as soon as a new cat picture is uploaded.

Meanwhile, Mike from Party Cannon took to Reddit to say, “Thanks for the love, you crazy sons of bitches.”

The lesson here? If you’re a heavy metal band, it pays to go against the grain.

‘Phone pinching’ might be the most stressful (and stupid) internet challenge yet >
