QUICK ONE FOR you; what three colours feature on the flag of the United States of America?
If you just mumbled ‘red, white and blue’ to yourself, fair play, you’re halfway there.
Now, tell us, in what order do these colours feature?
If you know all too well that the stripes alternate between red and white, and the white stars are set against a blue background, you’re already more informed than the President of the United States.
Most of us know that the order in which the colours appear on a flag is pretty damn important, right?
We mean, if it wasn’t, we’d be draping the Ivory Coast flag over us at every international football match.
Unfortunately, President Trump didn’t get that memo, and appears to be under the impression that as long as he has the colours right, he can lash them in wherever he sees fit.

And that’s how an American flag ended up with a blue stripe under the President’s watch in recent days.
While visiting the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio, Donald got in some colouring-time with the kids and can be seen diligently adding a blue stripe to the American flag.
And Twitter is having an absolute field day.
