This priest got in loads of trouble for riding his hoverboard at Christmas Mass

Don’t bring your hoverboard to Mass, people.

WE HAVE REACHED peak hoverboard, people.

Not only are regular people using them, but now priests are using them.

The Guardian reports that the incident took place in a church in the Philippines… and it seems it didn’t go down too well.

The Diocese of San Pablo released a statement last night condemning the priest’s actions.

Last December 24, 2015, before the final blessing of the Christmas eve mass, as a way of greeting his parishioners, the priest sang a Christmas song, while going around the nave standing on a hoverboard.
That was wrong.

The statement goes on to say that the priest in question has apologised and will not spend time “out of the parish” to “reflect on this past event”.
