Not only are regular people using them, but now priests are using them.
Case in point? This man.
Yes, that’s a priest gliding around Christmas Eve Mass on a hoverboard.
As you do.
The Guardian reports that the incident took place in a church in the Philippines… and it seems it didn’t go down too well.
The Diocese of San Pablo released a statement last night condemning the priest’s actions.
Last December 24, 2015, before the final blessing of the Christmas eve mass, as a way of greeting his parishioners, the priest sang a Christmas song, while going around the nave standing on a hoverboard.
That was wrong.
The statement goes on to say that the priest in question has apologised and will not spend time “out of the parish” to “reflect on this past event”.
The main takeaway from this? Don’t bring your hoverboard to Mass.
